The Rock and Ring is proud to announce that for the first time, proceeds from the Rock and Ring Bonspiel will go to charities as designated by the first and second place teams. Congratulations to all curlers and sponsors for contributing to a worthwhile cause.
Congratulations to the "Richmond Hillers"
Sean Turriff, Robert Fukunaga, Mike Garritsen and Burce Ure as champions of the 5th Annual Rock & Ring Bonspiel, and winners of the ScotiaMcLeod Trophy. The Richmond Hillers curled for the "Canadian Cancer Society".
Runners-up, and winners of the 2002 PEO North Toronto Chapter Trophy are the team from the Professional Engineers Curling League (EAST)
of Rob Anderson, Phil Coulter, Bruce Watson, and Bill Janzen. This team curled on behalf of the "Bloor MacMillan Children's Foundation".
A new category of trophy was donated by OSPE, for the Top Corporate Entry, (all curlers from the same company). This year that trophy was claimed by the team from Pratt and Whitney Canada
of Kim MacDonald, Frank Kelly, Rejean Beaulieau, and Sima Gupta.
For the third consecutive year, we will protect the anonymity of the team that captured the esteemed honour of "Least Feared Team"!
