Rock & Ring Charity Bonspiel
Starting in 1998, the Professional Engineers Curling League has hosted an "open" one-day bonspiel, which like the league, is intended to foster good fellowship and good curling among engineers. This event is open to females and males, with the only stipulation that at least 3 participants on each team must be either a Licensed Professional Engineer in good standing with a recognized Canadian or U.S. engineering association, OR a Graduate Engineer-in-Training, OR a Graduate of engineering from an accredited Canadian University.
The Rock and Ring has quickly become a much-anticipated event, with many "out-of-town" teams participating and looking forward to renewing friendships made in previous years.
Since 2002, proceeds from the Rock and Ring have been donated to charities as designated by the first and second place teams. Congratulations to all curlers and sponsors for contributing to a worthwhile cause.
