Curling League Chairs hold the post for two years. The position rotates from East to West. Treasurers are promoted to Chair after two years.

An early record in the files shows the Chairman as below. However a subsequent note says: Prior to 1972, Ian Harvie was active in the league for at least 3 and maybe 4 years. He said that there was no formal organization and that he looked after arranging for the ice and collecting fees. Other members were always available to draw up the schedules and look after the scores. He also said that Don Ramsdale looked after the league before he was involved but he is not sure how many years, probably two. The only other person involved in the early years of the league was John Profit. Both Jim Vann and Jim Toms believe he was instrumental in gettting the league organized at the very beginning.
